Generating Adhoc Reports

To generate an adhoc report using the default settings, follow these steps:

  1. Select Adhoc Reports from Reports Management. The Adhoc Report Management screen is displayed. The following options are displayed throughout the report generation process:

Purpose

Save

Save the current report.

Copy

Create a copy of the current report.

Execute

Execute the current report.

Preview

Preview the current report without saving.

Return

Return to the main list.

Previous

Proceeding to report definition screen.

Next

Proceeding to the report layout screen.

  1. Click Yellow Select Button. The Modify Adhoc Report Definition screen is displayed.

  2. Click Next. The Modify Adhoc Report Column Details screen is displayed. Select the input data (data source/meta view) for the current report. The MetaView displays all the available meta-views defined for the user’s group.

By default, all the meta-views are displayed to the user logged in as System Admin.

  1. Click Next. The Modify Adhoc Report Format screen is displayed. It enables you to define the layout, grouping, and aggregation for the current report.

  2. Change the details as required.

  3. Click Save.

  4. Click Return to List. The Adhoc Report Management screen is displayed.
