The Application Setup consists of the common information that enables controlling the application processing and other options. The setup of application variables is managed through the Application Setup screen. You can define values for the following:
Number of attempts before lockout - If any user fails to login to E2E within the mentioned number of attempts before lockout, the IP address of that machine is locked.
Initial Password after reset - This is the initial password applicable to all users to login for the first time. If the user gets locked out and the password has to be reset, this password should be used to access E2E.
News and Information - The general information about E2E.
Welcome Information - This is a welcome note.
Contact Information - The business contacts along with their contact information.
The changes to these variables are reflected on the Login screen.
To configure the application-level variables, follow these steps:
Select the name of the Group from the available list, if different from the displayed group.
Click Application Setup from System Administration. The Application Setup screen is displayed.
Change the details as required.
You can make changes to all fields.
Click Save. On your next login, the changes are reflected on the Login screen.
If you reset any user's Password, the password is reset to the one configured in the Initial Password after reset.
